List Price and NPD moratorium

As we head into the peak trading season, we wanted to give you a heads up about our annual moratorium on list price changes and new product launches. The moratorium means our store teams can focus on their customers and selling as much of your product as possible through the busy summer season.

Of course, we will continue to comply with its Grocery Supply Code obligations in relation to list price changes. For this particularly busy period, we will respond within the usual time frames.  We ask however for your understanding in working with us around the moratorium dates and implementing agreed list price changes.

Given our list price change process, we wanted to notify you now so you can plan ahead. When planning your list price changes and product launches, please plan the scheduled implementation date outside the moratorium dates below. The price moratorium doesn’t apply to normal mutually agreed promotional pricing.

2025 moratorium dates

List Price Changes
No changes effective (launching in our stores) between Monday 24 November 2025 and Sunday 1 February 2026
To meet the last possible effective date before the moratorium (24 November 2025), please submit changes by Friday 12 September 2025
For the first effective date after the moratorium (2 February 2026), please submit changes by Friday 7 November 2025

New Product Launches
No launches between Monday 24 November 2025 and Sunday 11 January 2026
First launch date after the moratorium is Monday 12 January 2026

Please note: This moratorium does not apply to standard, mutually agreed promotional pricing.

We’re sharing this information now to help you plan ahead and avoid any disruptions. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
